| “Horrified” is one of the fine examples of what I plan on doing with my career. The image is about a woman who awakens to reality and finds that she is confronted with a spirit we cannot see. To see this spirit one must use a black light. The story takes place in a mansion about a woman of high stature walking down the corridor when all the sudden the space around her is bending into a three sixty degree view. While this is happening she sees something that startles her. I may have spent over a hundred hours to make this painting. I had paid a lot attention to the bricks texture and the figure. I had to make many corrections on the painting. Among them is the perspective it self. The image used the laws of curvilinear perspective. The figure was also a little difficult to make. She was in a space that is curving and she needed to do the same. |
